My mom has covid, what should I do?

My mom has covid and I'm worried about her (she also has a history of health issues). I'm the oldest so I'm trying to help out but this isn't just a cold, its covid. Therefore, I'm really stressing. I offered to stay home so i clean up the house so germs won't be containmenting everything. Sanitization is good, right?

You're an awesome daughter!

First, take care of her by being there and being solicitous. Just help.

Treat it a lot like the flu. Keep her warm or cool, hydrated, and see that she gets rest -- she's probably going to be tired a lot.

But, also, chill yourself--youre no good to her if you're stressed and tired and grumpy. So you should eat and rest and laugh.

And, yeah, clean will help. But don't do more than you usually do.

There's not a lot you can do at this point that will make a difference in the outcome. All you can do is help out until she feels better.
