I'd say it depends on the parents style of raising their kids. Are they the regretful parents or the blunt and level headed. That isn't going off of which child came out first.

there's more expected from the oldest sibling, in terms of responsibility. But nah im pretty spoiled. Im basically the second mother when my mom was out. And whenever my moms around, i’m treated as the baby. Its the best of both worlds at times. The sibling rivalry only lasts about 3 years when the next youngster is born

I'm basically the mom of everyone... even my mom said herself a few weeks ago that she thinks that my purpose in life is to take care of her and my family and that's why she had me lol

I definitely had to mature faster than my brother. I always had more responsibilities than my brother but when delegating tasks my parents always rely on me to help them. I don't mind but sometimes I need a break.

It had a lot more responsibilities attached to it, but I did get to do things first that made my brothers jealous.

Kinda, feel like I got in trouble for everything, then 3 years later, little sister does a whole ton of the same stuff and it was all ok

I'm the oldest, but I grew up with my father while my two half sisters grew up mostly separated from me. My cons happened because of my mom wasn't around for me. But I don't sibling rivalry.

The older sibling gets less. My parents had 10 kids, they were better parents to the younger than they were to the older
