She always feels like she's being judged. She feels fat when she's not at all, but at the same time, she feels like she has a pretty face, good job, and a good singing voice although she has stage fright. She also can't admit when she's wrong and ragingly gaslights to "win" the argument and then dismisses anything anyone else has to say unless... someone like me who has experience with her can listen to her side and calmly express my viewpoints. This doesn't always work either, and I really don't want to deal with it sometimes.
By the way, I love my sister, and she is far from the worst person in the world. I do think she usually is a good person, but she has these moments that just annoy me because they just don't make any sense. I'm wondering how unique this is or if it is not at all. Personally I don't think her behavior is rare, but please feel free to chime in.
Please share if you have any solutions.

I voted a common female thing, but I don't think it's ok and it definitely shouldn't happen on a daily basis.
She's probably suffering bipolar disorder, or some similar mental illness.
So you think she should see a psychiatrist? Do you think it's best for her to take some medication?
... as if that's a cause rather than an effect of something? How do you care for a mental illness?
The answer isn't actually as complicated.
Years after trying to unfuck myself, as I was previously resistant to the truth having my own issues, like my consciousness was filtered which is the case for everyone who is suffering. And there is a lack of understanding of our natural mechanisms when dealing with these things. At first you come across this information and it fascinates you, you want to take action and sometimes you heal. Other times you fail and it becomes merely just a concept that you memorize.
There are thousands of self help books, emotional healing is a must if you literally want to prevent premature death. But as mentioned the ones who need it the most often aren't capable of helping themself.
It could be possibly too big of a jump to assume childhood trauma or something developmental, maybe there are CHEMICALS IN THE WATER right now or something about an unhealthy diet. Either of those are EXTREMELY common, for young and old, for boys and girls, some have it to higher degrees than others.
@Rab1901 please don't do medications, it's a normalized alcoholism, or even worse in ways. The cause of it is the same reason people overindulge in religionism or ultra spiritual escapism. None of which ever help, and shit gets worse.
@Реrverted_creep Thank you for sharing your experience and your well thought out explanation. I will definitely take what you said into consideration.
Say to her, “bro it’s not that hard, just have the ‘All of me’ mindset”
