The next time you see them in person, the moment you mention the message they cut you off to explain that they were drunk that day and were only trying to say nice things just to be nice.

Yeah cause the one thing ya can do when drunk is send a coherent poetic message. That's the one thing been drunk is known for, not totally misspelling everything and not making clear sense.

For a friend to send that is manipulative as hell, especially if you're feeling even close to the same as them. Its even worse if they try to take it back.

In all honesty, it was me who sent the message.

This was years ago.

I deeply regret not being honest, but anxiety prevailed in the heat of the moment. :/

No…I did it to someone else.

To this day, I’m honestly not sure if he believed me when I said it was just a compliment or if he just pretended to believe me so I would stop shaking.
