I have trouble with emotions and it is hard for me to digest things. Speaking with emotions first, leaves me no room to actually think about it. It does push people away and hinder relationships. Of course, I am still working on it.

Yes, nobody likes an emotional person or how they speak with their emotions rather then factual evidence. I don’t want to get into politics, but you could guess which side is more emotionally stable 😂 and its an example of speaking through emotions

Making rational decisions and considering all the facts and then putting thoughts and emotions to the decision you make given all the evidence I think that’s the type of person I am

Yes, out of control emotions can push people away. It is one of the major reasons people avoid talking about politics or religion.

People who can't control their emotions are weak-willed morons who don't deserve to be called adults.

Well, damn, I think it’s been hard lately, because I’m still grieving over my mother’s death. I live alone so I don’t bring anybody into it but I hate when people ask how are you doing? How are you feeling and don’t really want the real answer so don’t ask

I mean, I’m just reading what you wrote. I carry my adult duties as a regular human being. Go to work pay my bills entertain her whatever go out when I can. They are just some moments that I wish that she was able to see the good stuff and things that I have accomplished. But you’re absolutely right I should get over it it is what it

Well last time I had a pet die I went to my room to cry alone and my roommate followed me in there and comforted me. Isn't that what friends are for?

Ignorant comment. You just suggested people who don't suppress their emotions are morons. In fact, that doesn't even work well and is considered dangerous. If you understand the subconscious mind you would see how ignorant your statement is. The conscious mind (will power) is going to lose roughly 96% of the time. You control yourself by getting coherence, not going to battle with your own mind. And I know you don't know that because it's not taught anywhere in schools; nor does your comment suggest you understand that. It doesn't make someone a moron to not know that. Will power plays a part but it has nothing directly to do with consistent behavior. The subconscious is directly responsible for consistent behavior.

Control your emotions or they will control you.

      It really is that simple.

That may be, but they live in different states and why didn’t you push a person away if you’re emotional or have feelings towards your pet at that time. I think when my mother died, I just wanted to go back to my childhood home and be by myself.

When I feel sad I l want comfort and understanding from people I mutually care about. I hope you can get more of that yourself.

Yes. Feelings rise and fall, which is why relationships built solely upon such things tend to fall apart.
