I'm planning to do New York Film Academy in a few months and I may do the One-Year Conservatory Program this summer. I think at 24, it's a chance for me to get away and rediscover who I am; while also maintaining a better relationship with my family; upon my return. It is imperative for me, because I feel like I need that break I have been overextending
Myself with my studies, hobbies and other activities a bit too much, it is meant for me to take a Gap Year to have some skills written on my resume for a more reason to obtain more job opportunities in my field of Film Editing at Columbia College Chicago's Student-at-Large Program next year; while finishing up with Colorado Christian University with my Bachelors
Of Science in Information Technology. There isn't much job opportunities for me in Chicago, right now, by me staying straight through getting my degree, everyone always says they are looking in another direction. Plus, being at home is killing my creative drive; what with my nosy neighbors next door not cutting me any kind of slack nor my mom; who I plan to move out of her house soon with my younger brothers and our cat; the cat won't be affected by me
Leaving, because I didn't adopt him, my mom and younger brother did. It won't affect him much, but still you know he may okay with it after a while. No, not I'm going to pull a Harvey Weinstein I know nobody owes me nothing, I'm going to get more time to be creative and show my talents and skills as a Film Director and become more independent. What do you think?

I think its a great idea , and I congratulate you , its important to follows ones passions , well written and I agree you need that break , you know what? You'll get on better with all of them when you leave , maybe even the cat !
As for mum , just tell her straight out , face to face , and just explain as you have in the question , clearly and articulately.
Okay, but why are you 41 and still asking mommy for permission to do things?
Just talk to your mother which is the problem anyway change your age profiles it’s in the 40s
You're nothing more than a year older than me, Sir. I'm sure I'm changing it now, it just had a birthday last week. I'll talk to her, I do it through text in-person. I thought about asking the question here for different opinions on it.
