work for a commercial cleaning company. At one of the buildings I clean, its a construction company, and some of the workers live behind the building in trailers. I have to walk out back to the dumpster everyday, and sometimes I hear barking coming from one of the trailers. I'm not sure if it's hooked to AC or whatever. But even if it was, isn't it still kind of dangerous because the power could go out. I'm just worried about the dog being too hot, or too cold. I can't see the dog, so I can't tell if it's too hot. WIBTA for just reporting it?

It's important to prioritize the welfare and safety of animals, and if you have concerns about the dog's living conditions, it may be worth reporting it to the appropriate authorities. You could contact your local animal control agency, the police department, or a local animal welfare organization to report your concerns and ask for their advice on how to proceed.
It's possible that the dog's living conditions may be in violation of local animal welfare laws, and reporting it could lead to an investigation and potential intervention to ensure the dog's safety and well-being. However, it's important to approach the situation with empathy and understanding, and to try to gather as much information as possible before taking action.
If you're unsure about whether or not to report the situation, it may be helpful to consult with a professional, such as a veterinarian or animal welfare expert, who can provide you with guidance and advice on how to proceed. Ultimately, it's important to prioritize the welfare and safety of the dog and to take action if you believe it's necessary to protect the animal from harm.
there are homeless people who own dogs, why would this be wrong?
