If a man is complaining about modern dating and isn't serious, why won't he get a vasectomy?

For instance my friend's brother is single at the time, not wanting to commit because of how he hates what modern dating has become and isn't looking for anything serious.

He already has money to have a vasectomy done and problem solved. His sister and others have suggested him to have it done but he said no to that. He won't do it. Why not if he has money?

If he doesn't want anything serious, a vasectomy is pointless, because logically, if he's not interested in anyone seriously, he shouldn't be having sex at all, vasectomy or not.

Casual sex should simply just never happen, and society should shun those who do so.

That aside, vasectomies are surgical procedures, so even if he did seriously want someone, but didn't want kids, doctors and forum users go on and on about horrible permanent side effects.

I thought about getting a vasectomy myself, because I don't want kids, but I do want a wife. But I can't find any concrete evidence proving it's safety in regards to permanent side effects.

Vasectomies are not meant for that lifestyle. Vasectomies should be considered definitive and do not protect against STD’s.

Reversals are expensive and come without insurance that it works. Condoms are the way to go for such a lifestyle.

He's 28. It just doesn't make sense that he doesn't want to commit, has negative views on modern dating but still wants to be fertile, keep his option available.

Because majority of men don’t think like women do, men prefer to have children with women they love , if not he’s trying to hold that woman with a child or on a mission to have as many children as possible

"but still wants to remain with the option" uh... yeah, people do change their minds. And are entitled to change their minds. What if the woman he's with wants kids?

Vesectomies are intended to be a permanent form of birth control and they should be treated as such. I don't know why people treat this like it isn't a big deal.
