My old coworker died last night. He was hit by a car while riding his bike.
We weren’t super close but we had a lot of fun at work together. I was also friends with his old roommate so we used to all hang out together.

he was a really cool and funny guy to be around. He also has 3 kids and a fiancé, I feel terrible for them

People: My Mom died on my Dad's Birthday on July 15th, 2020 in the evening at 52 years old. My Oma passed a few weeks before on June 23rd in the morning.

My best friend's Mom died a year later after mine in 2021, she was also in her early 50s. She was pretty cool, she would talk to me a lot and was funny.

Pets: Houdini of 13 years had to be put to sleep in late September of last year.

It definitely sucks.

In the month of March, within literally days of each other, my uncle passed away. Then two co-workers. One was elderly, the other died unexpectedly of cancer.

That last one was a bit of a surprise as, although I knew my co-worker - actually a former boss - had cancer, he had been in surprisingly good health. It appeared that the medication he was on was working. Then, within a week it all went down hill.

It was quite a month and I hope I don't have another one like it anytime soon.

I've had five deaths occur to people close to me this year so far.
My age undoubtedly explains that uptick in frequency, but still, it's been a heck of a year.
An aunt, my mother, two good friends, and most recently, a cousin, the first of my generation of my family to pass away.

One of my best friends, died on the 28th of April 3 years ago. I still think of him very often and miss him.

Recently my sex drive died. Very sad. The funeral is on Friday. :'(

That sucks regarding your coworker, heart goes out to you and especially his family.

The most recent would be my wife's father in-law. Good man, he was always there for us.

My last friend in the world died a couple of months ago. I still haven't grieved. Death doesn't kick in for me sometimes.

My brother died by strangulation on his wheelchair. I miss him. But his memory will be with me forever.

We have a family friend whose mother came down with a heart issue and the doctors said she would probably die before Mother’s Day.

You can only really experience your own death. But I was saddened to hear yesterday about the passing of Superstar Billy Graham.
