Should I buy a house with my mom?

My mom and I have a jaded past. We didn't talk to eachother for almost 10 years but eventually we started texting. The pandemic happened and I moved in with her and my brother to invest in our relationship.

Now we're much closer but she wants to buy a house with us and she's always been unreliable with money. I'm proud of my good credit and I can't be paying for potentially a whole house right now.

Nope. She is bad with money and you, or you and your brother, will get stuck paying the entire mortgage but she will still be 1/3 owner, or 1/2 owner if your brother declines. Or worse, if your brother turns out to be unreliable, you could get stuck paying the whole loan for only 1/3 interest.

Buy a house with your brother and tell your mom she can pay when she can afford it. This isn’t about being nice, but you don’t want to plan your expenses in such a way that you end up depending on somebody who might not pull through for you. Your brother and you can shoulder the money and your mother can pay you when she can afford to, but don’t table her income into your house cause she might default.
