Is being a young father a bad idea?

I've always wanted to be a young dad but im 22 now but im speaking for like 26 or something, i would have to sacrifice a lot of time and stuff that i can spend with the wife but if the wife agreed, would it be a bad thing? can it lead to anything bad to be a young dad? i know the responsibilities but not really what id be letting go if i started young or what im basically walking into

I think 30 is a good age for a first time dad. My question to you is: Do you really want to bring an innocent child in this crazy 🤪 world? I would deeply consider what this child will have go through to navigate this crazy world. So much weirdness going on. You can't protect them forever.

If you were asking this question 10 years ago, I would have had a completely different opinion.

Seriously consider what your child will have to go through for the next 80-90 years.

i understand where you are coming from and i feel like i could raise them right still, i just gotta fool the system which I've been doing since i was 14, for starters they aren't going to public schools lol

You need money and be financially stable. And have a village to help out…it will make life a lot easier.
also find a woman who will share the same goals with you.

I was 25. It was relatively young. I was not financially settled and I still wanted to hang out with my friends. It was a very difficult transition. One day I was hanging out with my friends and the next thing I knew I had a wife and a kid and a house and a 6 days a week job.

Yes, and maybe waiting until I was older but it all worked out. I am only 52 and all my kids are through with college and living on their own. I just wish that they would send a few bucks home.

It depends how you look at it, some people think it that way, some people think of it as the highest recognition of someone's union... proving a commitment as you're essentially entering a contract and you can be financially tied together if you haven't got a pre nup

well yea but i plan to marry smartly, its gotta be a woman thats worth marrying, that i can have a lifelong bond with, so i technically wouldn't be thinking of divorce, how any relationship should be no?

Yes I agree, however if you have assets its smart to have a prenuptial as should they because you just never know. It'd like life insurance... always protect
