So is Mother's Day offensive for single dads? Don't you think that the responsibilities imposed solely based on gender are nonsense?

Narcissism, no, and no, respectively. Gender roles didn't emerge out of nowhere, they developed naturally as a consequence of the circumstances we evolved under. They're often overly restrictive and sometimes outright counterproductive, but loosening social expectations isn't the same thing as outright abandoning nature- that never ends well.
Giving hate towards males in general (unless they go gay/trans) has become trendy for people with particular political beliefs I won't mention here.

Some festivals are just considered offensive to people who don’t have what people celebrate about. If someone is single, they may see Valentine’s Day as a day to offend them, Mother’s Day a day to offend a child who lost their mom.. etc.
If the man is a deadbeat, he doesn’t deserve recognition. And before you come for me, the same should apply to mothers who don’t care and/or contribute for their kids. They shouldn’t deserve recognition on Mother’s Day.

No, I don't think traditional gender roles are nonsense. They have developed in virtually every culture over thousands of years through the accumulated, collective wisdom of all who have passed before us and I am not so arrogant as to think that I am smarter than all who passed before me.
Its the usual one way street, Mothers Day is always celebrated stronger than Fathers day, Before Mothers Day there are adverts everywhere - Fathers Day nary a one.
As for Father's Day is offensive for single mothers, the vast majority of single mothers are in that situation by their own making, not being on birth control themselves and chasing the guys who will not use condoms etc
Cause women who have it hard want everything to be about them. Feminists fuel that anger and can care less about the single fathers in reversed situations.
Some people have too much time on their hands, I guess.
Personally I think single parents should be celebrated on both days. 🤷🏾
Its not offensive. Most single parents are gifted in place of the absentee one. Thats double gifts for them.
Hmm… I have no idea why it would be offensive for anyone 😅 Do we live in a same world?
I've never seen anyone be offended by it. They just don't celebrate it or celebrate both
Because they are whiny trash that hate everything not glorifying them.
ot is because people are offended by everything today,
Because... some people simply enjoy ''feeling offended''?
I’ve never really heard anyone get offended by it.
Who the hell would be offended by a day meant for fathers? If a single mom has the need to be offended, that’s her problem.
quite simply: cause some people are just idiots. can't please them all.
It reminds them of their bad decisions that led them to being single mothers in the first place.
I don't see many who are offended, but I do see many who try to make it about them.
I can't think of a single plausible reason why anyone would be offended by this day.
Well, some people believe there are like 100 more genders out there so?
Never heard this but definitely don't care.
never heard of that but okay 😂
Those women are just jealous of petty shits.
Who lol
