What is a good place to meet other teenagers?

i hate to sound lame but i left in-person school because i was being bullied, and i don’t really have any friends, outside of my family.

preferably other goth teenagers haha.

Any hobbies you have are solid. If you have a friend group, getting involved with their more public activities help. Obviously online forums, discord and alike are solid if perhaps providing an uncertain quality of friends.

Personally I made most of my more scene-type friends on concerts. Requires you to be bold enough to talk to people, but as a bonus talking with people about the stuff you all love is rather easy. Not a guarantee but I had to stop making new friends rather than worrying about having any when I was frequenting the local concerts. As an added bonus, it was a lot of fun.

I can't help you for goth but some places include:

• Malls
• Coffee shops
• McDonald's
• Church -- may not be your scene but it legit is a place to meet other teens
• Sports

Sorry you were being bullied. That really sucks and I completely understand. I was bullied in school too. It didn't get better for me until college and I think if you decide to go to college that's when it'll get better for you.

I'm not really sure where you would meet other teenagers but I do know that Discord has a variety of channels or servers to possibly meet other teens like yourself. I know it's online but you maybe could eventually meet them in person.

Physical places you could meet other teens is bookstore if you like books, the mall, coffee shop, the library etc.

This is what I would do:

I'd go to a mall and approach people and tell them what you told us. Seriously. I wouldn't approach guys and certainly wouldn't approach guys that are attractive.
Gives you the best shot a finding real, nice people who also are looking for friends.

The crazy thing is... Everybody is so lonely yet nobody can find anyone. It's because no one gets along.

I was going to make a wisecrack and say that I used to met other kids at the malt shop with Archie and Jughead but I know you are serious.

I was bullied as a kid as well. I had a few interests and I was able to go to an adjoining town and I met kids from there.

You can try to be more open to other cultures of people to hang out with. Bullying sucks for everyone, but as an adult life changes. All the stupid bullies drop out because they are too dumb or get hooked on drugs.

When you go to college you'll meet more nicer mature people there, hopefully. There will still annoying people, but most of the bullies dropped out or they will drop out of college because of drugs or partying.
