This is a really shitty situation. I have 2 cars in my name. One of them my dad uses. He had to use my credit and my name to get a car because he couldn't be approved at the time.
Well, the car is experiencing a debilitating electrical issue and is unusable at this moment. In the meantime, he now has to use my other one (which is my primary car). Now, I don't have a car at the moment.
It is unknown at this time how much the repairs will be. The repairs may be more than the car is actually worth, and I am still responsible for ensuring the remaining amount owed is paid. He will for sure have to get it towed to have a specialist perform a diagnostic.
I am on disability at the moment and draw checks equivalent to a full time job making minimum wage. I still live at home, so obviously, I need to make sure my dad has transportation to work because he is the breadwinner of the family. My mom only works part time because she has physical limitations.
This is a nightmare.
