Is it possible to have twin babies if me and my husband don't have any twins in the family?

I know that most of the twins I’m aware of had mothers past 32. It seemed twins are more likely with parents past a certain age. If you do get twins, encourage their social connection because I believe it’s good for the brain. I notice twins are normally unusually smart and I believe it’s because they have a best friend that they’ve known since conception and socialization is good for the brain.

Of course, twins often skip one or two generations in a family tree. Your grandparents or great-grandparents may have had twins. Also, some twins are the result of spontaneous egg division.
