When was the last time your adult sibling annoyed you, and what was it for?

She posted a public comment on FB that was untrue and very disparaging. It was the last in a long series of back-stabbing actions by her, and I decided that it would be the last. I blocked her on my phone, social media, I avoid most smaller family functions which I suspect she will attend, and I do not invite her to any family events which I organize. She will not be invited to my wedding next year and I suspect that I will see her only at funerals until one of us is dead (most likely her, as she is a diabetic and she is approximately the size of a small barn.)

@ManOnFire Yes, and I decided that being her brother meant - to her - only that the same set of parents were listed on our birth certificates. My sister has become one of those people who is miserable, hateful, and loves to stir up drama around her. I don't need any of that in my life, so I avoid her as much as possible. We live in the same city and I see her less than once a year.

My cousin came over and wanted to take a walk around the neighbourhood and I told her I did not want to leave the house cause I had stalkers that tried to give my home address to violent criminals and I did not want them to know where I lived and she wouldn't even consider my opinion and forced me to leave the house for a walk. Another time we had a gathering when I was thirsty and tired and sleep deprived and she forced me to walk around another hour when I was already tired from the 2 hour and low hydration walk I did earlier that day with her.

Two of four of my adult siblings routinely annoy me. Those two are several years older than me. The other two much more pleasant siblings are younger than me.

Reasons for my annoyance? It's very complicated.

I no longer communicate with the oldest sibling, and the worst offender. Period.

The other annoying sibling runs hot and cold. I'll communicate with him as long as things are OK. When his lousy attitude kicks in, I just back off for a while. He then usually comes back later in a better mood.

It was over ten years ago, His wife accused me of shortchanging them. I have not talked to him since.
