My husband has a sister cousin, should I be concerned?

My husband has a adopted sister who is actually his cousin. She is 13 but she looks 5 years older than her age. Me and my husband are in our early thirties.

Unless there is something more to this, I don't see what there is to be concerned about. It's not unusual to adopt a kid when the parents can't or won't take care of them. I see nothing whatsoever to raise any red flags. I don't know why anyone should question it.
