I had a step dad from 2 years old to 10 years old if I got any trouble he would beat me with the belt until I was black and blue parents got divorced got another step dad when I was 15 14 and 1/2 15. And just around 16 he put his hands on me and I pushed him up against the wall and I told him never to touch me again or I beat his ass well the odds are he going to kicked my ass but I wasn't going down without a fight because I swore been down that I would never have anybody beat me the way my step dad did not even touch me I moved out when I was 16 and then the stepdad they used to beat me he got married so I had to step mom too and he never did touch me again but I am pretty blessed because when I moved out when I was 16 I felt as if I knew nothing I had no clue what the world was about so I had to learn very very fast and I made it a point to ask myself everything that I was doing is this the right thing is this right or wrong so no matter what happened in my past it doesn't even matter anymore because today's today I am who I am today because of that yesterday I am either the person I'm supposed to be or I'm working towards it I'm not sure I'm happy I'm content I'm a pretty good person and I think things turned out okay actually but I'll say is they turned out the way they turned out and I am who I am and I like myself I'm sure there's tons of room for improvement but in life we get to choose who we want to be we can be anybody we want because we choose we want to be by the things we say and do and I analyze everything I see everything I hear everything I feel everything I'm going to say I turned out pretty good knock on wood lol
My step parents have been nothing but amazing. Sure, they have their flaws as a parent, but every parent does. I'd say the divorce itself had more of an impact than anything.
Damn. I personally wanted my parents to divorce. They fought every day. Still together to this day though
Perhaps I would've gone down that road if they stayed together and I've known many who've experienced something similar to that. For me, it was because they divorced when I was 5 and I barely got to see my father due to it ever since.
Yeah that can really affect your own masculinity. I hope you’re doing manly things like a sport or going shooting, or boxing. Something that’ll keep you physically engaged, and focused.
Well, he's called every single day since the divorce due to the long distance and it'd be for a week or two whenever I did see him.
It was more frequent when I was younger, so I've still experienced a lot of those things. It was just less frequent than most kids, since it'd be every 2 - 3 months up till the age of 13 when I moved. So, for me, I've been mostly fine in that department, but I cannot say the same for my brother.
Also, were your parents wanting to divorce after you were old enough like 18 or is it just a situation of them not believing in divorce when it comes to them?
My Dad would threaten Divorce on my mom sometimes during fights.
And other times I would beg my mom to divorce him. My Dad was a drunk and verbally abusive towards all of us.
Literally a possessed demonic being.
When I turned 18+ he completely changed.
It’s like if someone removed the demon from him completely. Now he’s the nicest person.
I don’t even know how tf that happened
I guess he just became sick of it. He reached that low point where his brain flicked a switch. Ever plan on asking him?
I have asked him. He just says he doesn’t remember behaving that way or saying the things he has said. 🤦🏻♀️
I don’t have step parents.
My kids do. My ex hubby and I remarried around the same time.
neither have their own kids.
my husband is the nicest man and he is like a father to them.
their step mom is a bit diff. I never met her … my daughter is not too fond of her. To me, she kinda leave the kids alone which I am glad. Since she is not abusive and helpful sometimes…maybe caring in her own way. I am glad about that.
I personally do not like family separation…I had to accept the reality of raising kids in 2 separated households so…we just make the best of our situation. My son look at it in a very positive way as having 2 moms, 2 dads and 2 big houses. So it’s not too bad.
for you.. you can’t change the way your parents want things… you can crate a great family is your own. Well a better career first 😊❤️
You better be careful. It’s the pedophiles that seek single moms more than anyone.
Tell your kids that no body should be touching them
Oh…wow!! That’s a terrible thing to hear coming from you.
I hope you were never a victim.
But yeah…thank you so much for your heads up.
I met my hubby here on gag 7 years ago. We dated LD and got married over a yr. now.
My kids are teens and have good healthy moral kind relationships with my second husband. We discuss higher educations and building success for the future as well as traveling the world as a family this summer. So all is well
It’s a terrible thing to hear. IT THE TRUTH.
Do you want to hear truth or you wanna hear lies. Just because you feel lonely doesn’t mean you need to put your children in danger.
The truth is Pedophiles and predators SEEK single mothers. ‼️‼️‼️‼️
What? I am married to a wonderful man. What am I missing?
Please explain.
Please reread what I wrote.
If you have a daughter which is FEMALE. The chances that your new husband does something to her is almost 120%
Do you not know male psychology?
I highly doubt your new husband married you to look AT YOU 🫵 no offense.
Sometimes we need to be realistic
Hahaha I understand where you are coming from.
When my husband met me, he didn’t know my daughter for a long time. He treats both kids like his own.
I hope you were treated well from your family.
My parents are together I still live with them. No separation or step parents.
I’m informing you that STATISTICALLY step fathers are 120% more likely to r—pe your daughter. If I were you. I wouldn’t dare have remarried. Absolutely not it’s too risky.
Even if he’s not a pedophile he’s always gonna be looking at her cause she’s young.
Men look at young and fertile women. Not infertile women in their 40’s. Does your daughter live with you? In the same house with this guy in there?
Do you want to know how many women were r—ped by the stepdad?

Do you know the difference between quality people and low life people?
It’s not about being quality or low life.
IT BIOLOGY!
It’s NATURE!
It’s MALE PSYCHOLOGY!
Men have testosterone … When men of any age marry a woman of 30+ with kids. The chances that he will eventually ****** your female daughters is VERY HIGH. The chances that he’ll be looking at her and checking her out are VERY HIGH. He has testosterone.
You don’t 🫵!
@midnightmoon05
Yes he is a man. That doesn’t mean all men want to fuck anything. Please come live with us. I would like to have you as my helper to teach other families what it means to be a good roll model and show love and respect.
We are now traveling throughout Europe … we talk to and live with other European families…they are not trashy like the hicks you/the news posting about the US.
Family value is trash in America!!!
I just hope you were never a victim.
I’m not a victim HOW MANY FCUKING TIMES grandma!!!
I was looking into psychology for a while. I’m telling you from my own research and observation through countless families and statistics.
And the STATISTICS say your underage daughter could potentially be **** by that male stranger.
Yes, my step-dad is the best dad I could have gotten!

My father married somebody who was only 4 years older than me. It was really messed up.
Sort of but in spite of them not because of them.
