I'm NOT the first-born child, but I probably have the best name out of all of my parents' kids (and I don't even like my first name.) All of my siblings have boring, basic ass names compared to my name. 😂

Nah I've noticed first borns always have basic names then parents start getting more creative with each child. I'm the youngest of 7 and have the best name in my family. Even with my own kids my oldest sons name is within the top 100 baby names so basic. All my other sons have extremely unique names. They are all in the 4000-5000 range of top names.

I’ve always believed that a name is a blessing (or curse) and a prophecy for one’s life.

My mother gave great and tremendous care in the naming each of us, and I shared with my wife, the importance of a quality name for our kids, and she agreed. If the parents are absolute idiots, then they will be flippant about naming their children.
Each child should have a very specific and fitting name which they will carry with him for the rest of the life.

I am an only child, so not sure how that plays into this, but I like my name. It's uncommon enough that you don't find it too often, but it's not one of those weirdo names you've never heard of.
