I'm not too far off from thirty. My best friend thinks it's creepy and pedo-ish if I communicate with anyone 23 or younger.

Communicate. Not flirt. Coworkers? Non-family? Doesn't matter. If you're 23 or younger (or whatever) I feel extreme guilt even just being nice to you. We will not be friends or anything. I will avoid you.

Is it wrong to talk to people within reason? It's not like I'm seeking these people out. I don't want to seem like a dick, but for everyone's comfort I have to be antisocial so my best friend doesn't chew me out. Is she just being irrational, or is she on to something?

I should mention she trusts me enough to babysit her son and daughter. Even had to change diapers. So why is she so adamant?

I've tried. It's really difficult she's persistent and I'm spineless.
I'm thinking it'll take a therapist to really help me understand exactly what and how to do things.
This is only just one of many issues I've been through.
I mean she's told me some horrible things before. And then when I agree that "yeah, sure, I'm a piece of shit, so let me go away" or something along those lines, it's always just... dropped.
Like, I'm aware I'm being manipulated I just don't know how to vocalize it. Nor do I have the energy to fight anymore. She's a heavy case of Bipolar, and I'm her focus person.

She gets mad at me for talking bad about her. She'd be mad if she saw this conversation, it would cause an argument.
She doesn't have GaG and yet I still feel so afraid that I only talk about her when I'm anonymous. I can't even... like, shit, she threatened my life over a year ago.
We have no mutual friends. She doesn't even like my parents.

I am a masochist and probably won't solve anything until I allow myself some dignity. Treating me like shit is overlooked, because I have self hate issues. I think that's why she's been around so long... because I allow it, I guess.

if you have a reason to communicate with them (co workers/employees of a store you need assistance with etc), then its not creepy. What's creepy is pushing sex or relationship agendas onto them. Your "best friend" seems more like a random snake than anything.

I naturally prefer people around my age when it comes to relationships, maybe five years younger or seven years older.

I don't have any desire to instigate relationships with people outside of my preferred ranges. It just feels unnecessary saying I can't make friendships. Not super-obsessive friendships, I just want to stop feeling like a piece of shit for talking to any coworker minor for longer than thirty seconds just to be friendly.

I should also mention I'm a little on the spectrum so if someone's wearing an anime t-shirt or something I'd like to compliment it and yet I can't.
