CBS News reports that Republican state legislators in Florida are considering a bill that would put cameras in classrooms, and force teachers to wear microphones, so parents can monitor the lessons that students are being taught. Republicans defend the move by claiming classrooms are not teachers’ “private space.”

Depends. The American school system is shit anyway. Maybe this is the way for parents to realise that what they are being taught isn't really worth what they are paying.

But on the other side. Maybe this is the tool for teachers to be able to show parents how bad their parenting is and how shitty their kids are.

It is reasonable under the current political climate as far as sexual views goes republicans and democratic are heavily divided. I don’t like the idea of trending kids but if California wants to do that I guess let them in Florida things that ranting kisses wrong let them do there thing this is the idea of federalism this is why when we get more of a central government things turn into a major issue I disagree with abortion but if Texas wants it illegal and California wants it legal best to write as states

I see no problem whatsoever I would love to have been able to check in on my children when they were in school to see how they were doing behaving what they were being taught how they were being treated. We are on camera and microphone and any other government building that we walk into at any given moment why should a school be any difference. Police officers have body cameras they are recorded both video and audio for their protection and hours. I think it's an excellent idea. Especially learning lately the crap that students are being fed and the way that they are being mistreated while at school. I would have loved the opportunity to be able to dial in and see what my children were up to.
