I had a bunny when I was about 9 or 10. I never cleaned him. we had him fro 3 days, he went outside to the garden and got lost. then the neighbor's dog took off his head. it was sad. very sad. that day was my brother's birthday and after we sand happy birthday right at the end of the song, my little brother added "poor little bunny" in a singing tone, and after that, every single happy birthday we ever sang, we would all say "poor little bunny".
I had no idea we had to clean him. I just knew he liked to eat lettuce and for some reason ran to hide outside. Grown ups should not let kids alone with cute pets, even when we didn't mean harm to him I'm sure we didn't properly treat the bunny, otherwise he wouldn't have ran from us to hide. we likely mishandled him in our adoration toward him

Keep them indoors where there is heat and bath them once 7 days a week.
