not sure what you're expecting them to do. there is not much they can do for you and they aren't in much of a position to help. also it's a lot to put on to another person as they can't fix anything. words don't do much either.
i would take this a step further and just go to a therapist to get it sorted. it's a lot healthier. i've had many breakdowns and eventually you just get numb to them, which is why my answer probably sounds so cold. i don't mean to sound cold as i've been in the same exact situation as you. don't let it control your life, please. things can get better.
I actually had a breakdown last year and few years back. I feel distant with them. I used to call my parents or my siblings. But now it seems they don't want to be bothered. I have retinopathy now and I just want to get on with whatever sight I have left. It's not really like anything good is coming my way.
