Do you view having to apologize to someone as a position of weakness?

I dunno sometimes i get the impression some people think of apologizing this way... do you? if so why?

By weakness i mean they may possibly view apologizing as granting some kind of power to the person for whom you are apologizing.

Yes to me someone having to apologize is in a position of weakness

No apologizing is a sign that they are mature

Subconsciously, I do view it as weak. It's my knee jerk reaction. I tend to be a little bit of an angry person, which is so. ething I've worked on for years. When giving it even a second d of thought, it is a position of maturity and growth.

It's not weak, I'd actually say it's strong. You saw your mistake and apologized for it without letting your ego get the better of you! I think that sounds beautiful.

Neither a weakness or sign of maturity. It's just a sentence filler that lets the other person know that you care about their feelings. It doesn't mean that you are admitting you were wrong.

No, I see it as a sign of maturity. If you're apologizing it means you realize that you were wrong or that you made a mistake. If you're immature you believe that you're always right and that you don't make mistakes.

Sometimes I apologize for things that I shouldn't apologize for, so that is what I do.
