How to handle a relative who wants to visit but everyone in the family doesn’t like her?

She’s 45 but most of her family don’t think highly of her and nobody talks to her. She had many disputes and everyone avoids her or put up with her. I feel awkward because even my own father and brother take nothing to do with her and even her own family because she treats people bad. She’s already booked her trip where she orginally was going with a friend but that fell through now she’s latched onto me I’m really dreading this as it’s going to be awkward as nobody in the family wants to meet up with her and I’m going to have to tell her in a nice way why they don’t want to meet up what should I do?

yeah that is awkward... sucks that she was the one who caused all of that, now her own family doesn't even want anything to do with her, nor her friends. yikes

you're going to have to make up an excuse saying that your family already had plans that they cannot miss. if you tell her the truth, she will blow up in your face and won't listen to your reasoning

Tell her nicely that people don't like her behavior, and she needs to change the way she interacts with them. If you separate her behavior from herself she will take it better than telling her that no one likes her.
