What can my brother do to get his ex girlfriend to accept his proposal?

My older brother is 29 and the woman he's been with for 4 years is 27. I don't know much about their relationship but do know they started living together on the 6 month of their relationship and the girl broke up mid Nov 2023.

My brother accepted his mistakes. He didn't cheat but admitted that sometimes he failed to keep his promises. He really means it this time. He has already apologized and proposed twice (just this Dec and just last week) but she declined him both times. I've never seen him this down and really desperate. He hasn't eaten much and didn't even show up to work today.

He really wants her in his life. He told me himself he's would move forward with the wedding the next day if she says today. He's really sorry about everything and will be the man she always wanted, make her happy, give her kids, etc.

He does means it all but she declined him twice. What can he do to get her to accept his proposal? Is there a way he can change her mind about it?

oh no. nope. that is a mess. she doesn't want any part of a proposal, which is why she broke up with him in the first place. why would someone who broke up come back at them with a proposal? seems extremely desperate!

dude needs to accept her choice and just move on already... he lost his chance. what was he doing in those 4 years? nothing? sure seems like it. maybe next time tell him not to waste other peoples time.

It really sucks. Now he's pining over her and wants what she wanted before. He wishes she would come back to him and talk to him about kids like she used to before, that she would go crazy over him like she was before. He misses all that.

Yet she used to be crazy about him, that she loved him before and wanted a future with him and kids. Now she doesn't want anything with him anymore and he wishes to have all that with her. He took longer to realize it. Now he's the one wanting it and she doesn't. He's pining over her. Sucks.

He admitted to that. He told me he would turn back the clock and propose earlier if he was given that chance. I guess the old saying ''you don't know what you had until it's gone'' can be applied there. He regrets it all.
