Is it fair for the man to request his girlfriend to propose if she rejected his proposal?

After this guy's marriage proposal got turned down, he told his girlfriend that he ain't proposing again. When she's ready, she has to do the proposing. Yet, the girl feels he's being harsh in punishing her for not being ready and still expects him to propose again. He told her that it's up to her. He ain't doing it again.

How the fuck is it harsh? It just seems reasonable. Men propose all the time and never complain about the possibility of rejection. That can't be fun but they still do it. Nothing harsh about it.

I think so too. She had her chance and blew it. She could've accept it and pospone the wedding. It's not like they were to get married the next day.
It takes a lot of work for a man to do that; the surprise, the courage in popping the question, the scene, etc.
