**Would you Drop Everything and Run To Them and Be By Their Side During Whatever Tragedy They Were Facing? Knowing You Both Have Had problems and Things Had Changed for You Both? xxoo
I am estranged from my sister. We have not spoken in several years and probably never will again. Whatever tragedy may befall her, it will in no way be my responsibility. I have nothing to say to her and doubt that I would ever reach out to her for any reason. I gave her far too many chances. I'm not doing this again:
That's your family, close or not, you go, if your family won't show up for you regardless of the circumstances, who will?
I’d wish to think that If my brother needed me, I’d even come back from the dead to help him.
Since it’s just a wish, I hope if and whenever he needs me, I can always be there for him.
I'd be there for them. Even if we're not close it's still the compassionate thing to do. I would hope they would do the same for me if the situation was reversed.
Thank you :)

Depends on the tragedy. Fired? No. Stage 4 anything, yes.
Once in their teens, they become their own person and make their own choices. In MY case, as the firstborn... I got out of the way of the family's resources for my brother's benefits. THEY chose their OWN perspectives and did not appreciate my choices and interests. The family became progressively more fragmented. I doubt I'll even be notified of their passings and vica versa. Like dandelion seeds to the winds.
My older sister and I were never that close. I actually found out that when I was born, she wanted my parents to get rid of me. When we got older, I bailed her out, financially, a few times. She never showed much thanks for that, and though she said she'd pay me back, she never did. She passed away a few years ago. I visited her one day before her death... as a means of closure.
I imagine if something were to happen to me first. He would be at my garage trying to take anything that he could get his hands on. So if something happens to him first. I may not even go to his funeral! Cold!!! But that is the way I feel. Besides, I wouldn’t have much good to say about him.
I would try to help. I don't get along with my sister and we don't talk but I still love her.
If they are toxic, probably nothing. My first instinct is to run to them though. I’d be so sad to know something happened to them
And clearly, you are thinking about it too. So you seem to care to certain level
If my brother had a tragedy, I probably wouldn't even hear about it. But if I did, I probably wouldn't respond more than "thoughts and prayers."
I don’t have that relationship with any of mines, so I would drop everything and help them.
I am close to my siblings, and I hope we will always be close. But if tragedy happens to them, I will be there for them whether we are close or not.
I doubt she would even ask me for help so I don't know.
If we were still talking then I would go to them but if not then I wouldn’t know anyway, fortunately I have a good relationship with my siblings
Hey Paris. Long time no see.
I have occasional falling outs with my family as most people do, but one thing we ALL know is despite the fact we may not talk for 6 months or longer, IF or when I'm needed, I'll be there and whatever the fight that caused it was about, becomes null and void!
This happened 2 times to me, both brothers have died at separate times. I returned home both times. They're my brothers!
I have no close living relatives, but if one of my exes was hit with cancer or some other serious ailment I wou;d help.
I would still be there for them, no matter what our differences are, they are still my sister. Family should always be there for each other.
Of course I believe we are obligated to look out for our family
I would be at aloss for word's and wonder, what if I done this or that and thing's were right between Us!!
Hope all is well with Paris!! Xoxo
@Carolinacowboy I Am Blessed, dear. xx
Family is family and nothing better mess with family….
I wouldn’t know if anything happened to my sister. We’re estranged
There still my family so it definitely drop everything and go to them
Hatred goes deep between me and my brother. I won’t even probably show up for his funeral.
I came dangerously close to this last year. I would do the same as my other relatives. Actually, thank you for the reminder. I have a god daughter I might have to take care if if her parents passed.
Be there, they're family
Nope. I have such a sibling who I'll feel bad for, but no way am I getting involved.
I dont know. I will let you know.
I’d be by their side 24/7.
What's your first instinct?
I would be there for them.
Of course!
I've no idea I'm an only child
I’m really not sure.
I dunno if I can let things go with my sibling.
Nothing have sex
Shit happens.
