Is it weird for a mother and her teen daughter to be in a bathroom together?

I work for a commercial cleaning company and at one of the office buildings I clean, there is often a women who's working late that we talk to (I work with an autistic man) and he daughter is occasionally there. Well, we walked in the building a little bit ago, and we heard her in the bathroom speaking Spanish. I thought she was on the phone. Well, the bathroom is in a hall, and it's a one person bathroom, and there is a break room across from it. So the come walking out of the hall. I think they were in the bathroom together. Or her daughter may have been in the break room waiting for her, because she's very shy. Does this sound weird?

In some families, people are very relaxed about sharing a bathroom and it is not a big deal to them. Is there any reason to suspect that something improper occurred while they were in the restroom together?

Depends what they were doing there, if anything. maybe they just used the bathroom at the same time.
