me & my mom had a fight before 1 hour ago i have not been working for a year i have been living off of my money. my last job treated me badly i was at the job for 6 years i left march of 2023.

she said my father did not raise me right. i told her maybe i was not right in the head because she use to be a drunk & hit me in the head.

i was taken away from her in 2009 to live with my father soon after me & my father & the woman he was married to moved to florida.

i moved back to my home state in 2015 & have been with my mother since i help out with the bills she does not work due to health problems.

i also have autism just wanted to give people enough info about my life.

was i a bad son to fight with my mom?

i told her she never said she was sorry for how she use to hit me.

she said she was sorry today but i was still stupid.

it's not bad per se to fight with your mum.

but continuously bringing up a bad situation from the past isn't healthy or kind. she can't change what she did.

so long as you can live off the money you have that isn't, for instance, just government help, then you do you. If you are just taking money from the government and you can be working, you should be doing that.

no money from government just been living off my savings. 2nd time i brought it up to her 1st time was years ago.

i hate when my mom says my dad fucked me up in the head. but she won't meantion how she hurt me

if you hate it that much, then leave the situation entirely. you can't use her for housing and then turn around not once, but twice, to bring up the past. If she did do the past actions, it's not okay. But neither is weaponizing the past like that

because to her, you probably are. your mum and dad aren't together any more. so it makes sense that their relationship is kind of fucked.

I fought with my mom all the time growing up. Didn’t stop until I started college and eventually got my own place. Note that I’m considered a guest when I visit my mom I we no longer fight.
