Just had an argument with my mom?

I am 21 and live with my mom. Every evening, I clean the kitchen and dining room as my mom makes these areas untidy and I like things clean. I don’t mind this too much however it can get pretty time consuming. Every evening, there are pots by the side and I clean them. She has told me before that if I do that I have to clean everything in the dish washer too. She doesn’t like pans to go in the dishwasher so I clean them in the sink anyway and there were pans tonight. So after I cleaned the pans and few plates etc she inspected the dishwasher and saw stuff in there and got mad at me. I ended up throwing the sponge at her telling her she’s unclean. She’s now saying she doesn’t want to speak to me for a very long time and saying I have anger issues. I don't know how to make this situation right

Save up and move out, then you can do things your own way.

Just let things settle down and sincerely apologize. If she doesn't even want to talk then just do little things around the house like cleaning to let her know you are really sorry.
