My story: My sister met her future husband on a beach in Barcelona while on line to get a drink.

Nothing too unusual. Most recently it was a student who hired me to teach English (ESL).

My parent's story is more interesting. Millions of people got relocated during WW2. Neither of my parents would have been where they were if not for the war. My father was leaving for a trip back home and missed the train. It was the last train out that night so he had to wait until the next day. To kill some time, he went to a dance at the YMCA. My mother was also at that dance, and they met. He left on his trip the next day, but they got together when he got back. All because he was late for the train.
