I mean just out of curiosity. I never tried. But I remember my sister tried that when she was a kid lol

I make food that I and my dogs can eat. For instance "Puppy Soup".
Puppy Soup is essentially a bland chicken soup:
>>>> It's vitally important not to have anything like garlic, chives, or onions or anything like them; anything in the Allium family (such as those) are toxic for dogs. I always check my cans of mixed vegetables for onions but, fortunately, it seems that no cans of mixed veggies have onions.
When giving to dogs, ...
Good dog food is rather expensive and still boring to them. It's like going to a restaurant with only one thing on the menu. I do buy good dog food. (My dog food bill is about $500/month for my 7 dogs.) So, when I make Puppy Soup, it helps stretch the dog food and the dogs get something more flavorful with each bite being slightly different from the bite before. They love it!
And, yes, I will have some Puppy Soup myself but add cut-up green onions and some salt or poultry seasoning.
If you look at the ingredients, they'll be various types of meat, grains, and vegetables- not GOOD meat, grains, or vegetables, but entirely human-edible.
That said, you wouldn't want to eat it. I once did an experiment where I cooked my dog up a burger and put it in her dish while I sat at the table eating dog food, and she STILL wanted what I was eating.
I've tried dry cat food because I was curious it wasn't like awful but I could probably live off it if I was on a deserted island. Lol
I will never try wet food I would rather die
nope. when you smell that cat food every day, I don't know why you'd want to even taste it

A woman I used to serve occasionally made me eat dog food from a bowl on the floor for her and her girlfriends' amusement... lol
Goddamn, Bill, unfortunately, I'm no longer getting heavy narcotics for pain, so your answers to these questions are becoming quite disturbing.
I've been tempted, but I'm kind of scared. My friend did before. He brought some dog jerkey to school and was trying to get people to eat it and they didn't trust him, so he took a bite himself and almost threw up. It was the funniest thing ever, and me and the other guys were laughing so hard
I ate dry fog food when i was a kid. Every time i fed the dog, i’d take a nugget for myself. The flavor was okay, but i really liked the texture of it.
lol... I always taste my cats and dogs food first...
as a kid, of course... I was always checking if my dog ate something better than me... he did the same :D
I tried a Milkbone once on a dare... nasty.
I feed my cat good cat food but it isn't THAT good!
Allegedly, here in CA, pet food has to meet the standards to be edible by humans...
Nah. But I've eaten craneflies, pencil shavings and blue block-printing paint.
... Not at the same time, mind you.
Yeah lol. I’ve tried dry cat food when I was little. It’s not very tasty
I used to have the occasional Milkbone with my golden retriever when I was a kid.
I remember some kids eating the hard dog treats, but I've never eaten any kind of cat or dog food.
Both. It's kibble so whatever. Never did wet food.
Yeah, it doesn't have as much flavor as you'd think
Yeah. When your parents don't feed you, you eat whatever you can
Yeah when I was a kid
Yep. Wasn’t tasty
Only a dog biscuit and they have no taste
I tried a Milk bone once
It was... ruff
No, good god! Gross!
