Do you find this site to be a good way of venting your frustrations politically, socially and spiritually? Does it have a cathartic effect?

I do, and I am dealing with my brother being diagnosed with lung cancer, and he and I trying to decide what course of action to take to prolong his life. I /we, all of the GAG members deal with sickness, emotional problems and yes, death and dying, at some point in our lives.

This site, whether you agree or not, has some cathartic effect for me and I am sure it does for others here also.

Be kind to others, as most are leading lives of 'quiet desperation"

Not really. I hardly ever vent, and I avoid the Politics section as I find it toxic and I am not here for that drama.
