What will you get for your father this year?

He doesn't like my presents lol so I asked him and he said he wants a portable bluetooth speaker. I have no idea if he will ever use it but let's see!

I am making a portrait of his favorite dinosaur. Here are some reference images I’m using. I would add color but there’s no way I’ll finish it by Sunday if I do, so I’ll have to leave it as black and white but I’m sure it will be fine.

My dad bought himself lobster for Father’s Day and I am going to give him money for it when I get paid. He bought enough for the whole family. For my birthday when it comes, I want to celebrate before or after but not on the exact day cause I will be busy on the exact day. My dad suggested a restaurant when I’m done but I plan on just having a donut and coffee.

All of us kids have chipped in and bought him a new grille and flat top. He absolutely loves cooking outdoors and his old grille is pretty shaky and old. Heaven knows he would never open his wallet for a new one as long as the old one sorta functions. We got him a smoker last year and he sure makes us some great stuff from that.

He passed. Its good reminder though. Wow time goes by fast. I was lucky to have him, he loved his kids and was great father… after overcoming so much. Makes me sad.

Probably just a visit at the cemetery.
I planted flowers for mothers day, pops wasn't big on flowers.
He called them protected weeds, but I know deep down he liked them.

My dad is dead. Every year for father’s day i drink a PBR, remember him and mourn my loss.
