Would you allow your oldest family member (someone who is at least 90 years old) to drive a car by themselves going 60 mph on a highway?

No. I almost got rear ended by and older folk when I was stopping at a red light. He was spacing out and didn’t realize the lights were red. Slower reaction time/reflexes along with diminished eyesight should deter anyone over the age of 80 from driving. My friend also got her car totaled when an 85 yo grandpa had a stroke mid-drive and smashed into her car.

I personally don’t think anyone over the age of 75 should drive alone… it’s for their own safety as well as for the general population’s safety.

One of my grandmothers drove into her mid 90s. She didn't really go anywhere on the interstate, but she often drove 50ish mph on main roads. She drove fine at that age. When her health started to decline in her late 90s she stopped driving. She almost made it to 101 though.
