I like my mom's cat, she acted like a dog. She chased dogs out of the yard.

She disappeared 3 days after mom passed. I had wondered for a couple of years if when one went, the other would follow. She was a very extraordinary animal. I don't know if I told you, I've told another how mom fond her in a ditch up from their home. She'd been hit by a car. Mom hand fed her for a few days, not wanting to move her. She made her comfortable and provided water. After about a week, she followed mom home. This was about 1990. Mom passed on February 23rd, 2006. Baby, as mom called her, always had a hitch in her left hip, but it didn't slow down.
Whenever we sat outside, she, Baby, would be around. Catching squirrels to play with only to let them go. She would do the same with snakes. The day I happened to look out the front window to see her chasing 3 dogs out of her yard, I knew there was something very special about that cat.

I’ve always been a cat person. Cats aren’t as much work as dogs. Dogs are a lot of work besides giving it food and water and walking. Cats don’t need walks, l. All you have to do for a car besides giving it food and water is to train them to use a litter box.

cat person. i find dogs to be intrusive and i can not communicate to them effectively that i wanna be left alone by them right now. they just don't stop putting their nose in your ass crack or your face.

Always had dogs, long hair German Shepherds. I like all animals including cats, but they cannot match the loyalty and devotion of a dog. They care about you. They would give your lives for you. How can you have a friend who's any better than that?

Oh, definitely a dog person, I've had 2 dogs a Standard Chocolate Poodle trained as a Guard/Gun/Retriever, and a Border Collie cross trained the same as the Poodle along with herding.

I like all animals, likely why I became a biologist. I've had cats and dogs, however, I've had more dogs than cats, so I seem to have an affinity for dogs.

Cats are nice to come home to, but I take my dog everywhere with me.

I’m a both person but I think I recognize when I’ve had cats, I’m there to love them. When I’ve had dogs, they are there to love me. It’s a different chemistry.

Both. Currently have one cat. I had two German Shepherds for many years who both passed away within the past two years. They treated the cat like a princess and she expects me to follow suit.
