a dog person generally but feline love language kind of suits me better

dogs either licks you all over or runs around you don't knowing where to rub themselves on you and makes you either rub their belly by lying to ground (makes you have to kneel) or rub their butts which kinda feels pointless for the one who does the rubbing.

whereas felines (not just cats) either rubs faces with you or hugs you which suits to my love language physically, what i prefer about dogs are their generally more social and welcoming attitude (but just my luck my own dog is one of the most anti-social dog you can ever seen)

I prefer dogs, every day of the week. For me, in my opinion, dogs are usually way happier to see you when you come home, and they are loyal and want to do whatever their human wants to do. They are great at making you smile and laugh at their antics, give great hugs, and like to snuggle and cuddle.

I love cats. I love dogs. I love birds.

Dog would be my favorite. They are just loyal, will die to protect you and love you on another level that is slightly above cats. Cats love you... when they feel like it but don't want to be bothered a lot of the time. If you are under a threat the cat will hide. Cats love you, some can be very affectionate but overall, on a macro level, no pet loves you the way a dog does. Dogs... LOVE you. More than any pet can I'd say.

While I love dogs, and have had a few of them they are more work and you need to plan ahead if you want to go somewhere.

You need someone to let them out.

With cats you can be gone for a day or so and they are fine.

A full self feeder, a couple of clean boxes and they are fine.

You might get the treatment when you get home but soon all is forgiven.

I love animals in general. I have 3 kittens now... brothers that were homeless newborns I took in from sitting in potholes in front of my door. If I had a bigger place, I'd have a dog too... I just don't because a dog needs a lot more space, such as a front&back yard, grassy areas nearby, etc... and I have a studio apartment.

Cat for sure they're smarter and you don't need to babysit them 24/7 i love dogs to i have 2 dogs and 1 cat but the dogs are so dependant on me they cry if we close the door to have sex
