I play online with my friend often who I know in real life. Most of the time when I tell him something, he just responds with "okay...". Like, my sister was recently given a 2011 Subaru from a friend. I told my friend that, and he was just like "okay...". I'd say something "oh that's awesome" even if I didn't care, but he makes it blatantly obvious he doesn't care.

sounds just as about annoying as having someone respond with "Yeaaa" every time. I like people to engage with me and elaborate and give inputs... i. e to share their own thoughts, feelings and ideas. When that doesn't happen, I ask myself.. what is the point?
You lost me at 35 and still playing games online.. I think this was about nitpicking someone immature behaviors?
I'm 30, and wth is wrong with playing games online at 35? As long as I work, pay my bills, and contribute to society, UT shouldn't matter.
Suppose it was the irony of you nitpicking someone while playing games.
