Have you ever had friends wonder why you'd rather spend time with other people than them?

I had a friend ask me not to spend anything on drinks for friends who weren't that close. But after a while I thought "I'm not even close to these people" since I never got invited to any activities like going to the beach or any home parties or anything.

I’m not sure I understand , I just hang out with whomever I want to and treat everyone as a friend unless they prove themselves unworthy. How would you get invited to anything if you never let people get to know who you are as your true self assuming of course that you’re a decent person.


I wouldn’t let anyone guide me on who I should spend time with or buy drinks for , that’s up to me.
