What has life taught you?

Suffering is normal
Death is going to happen to everyone
I have choices
Trust my intuition
Don't live in fear or anger
People act on emotion, not reason, the majority of the time
Each day is a gift
My body is not to be taken for granted
Feelings are valid and demand attention
I can live life with God or without Him. My life is considerably better with Him.
Those are the top ten. :D
@TheRealPepperPotts
That's an awesome reply!
Thank you so much for your post!
Much has occurred in my life since late February.
Much more has occurred in my family's lives since late April.
One short month ago, I'd have viewed much of your list very differently, but events that were set into motion by me and by those who love me have gone a long way in my knowing and believing these tenets to be true.
It's up to me to keep knowing them and believing them.
That's not always an easy thing to do.
I don't yet see a light at the end of the tunnel, but I believe that one will be there only if I continue to adhere to these beautiful words.
Having never seen these thoughts brought together as they are, I'll assume for the moment that you are their author or at least their original compiler.
Would proper attribution belong to yourself or to another if I were to print them for free distribution to not just my loved ones, but to those who are in need of them.
In other words, the world.
My small world, anyway, at least.
If I may do so, by what name should I attribute them to?
"TheRealPepperPotts" - That name could be problematic for obvious reasons.
"Anonymous"
Another appropriate "handle", perhaps?
Thank you again! 🙏
You only get one and goes by quickly in the grand scheme of things so be safe but have fun and don't worry about what other's think about you. Live your life not theirs.
I agree
1. changes in communication, particularly a drop in communication, means you need to read the writing on the wall, shore up your defenses, and keep your head down.
2. God favors the prepared.
3. You choose the life you want to live.
That our two worst enemies are democrats and the so called 'news' networks.

I learned that when you need to take a break you should take one at the right time cause if you don't rest at the right time, you will rest when it's not the appropriate time to rest. I also learned that drama dies if you don't relive it with your words and thoughts.
Like a coach once said
"It doesn't matter whether you win or lose it's how you play the game... and even that doesn't matter very much".
I never knew at the time he was teaching me the ultimate life lesson that sums up everything.😆
retrospect and learn... don't repeat stupid mistakes...
Be kind and treat others, the way you’d want to be treated.
Sadly, that the majority of people are selfish and only look out for their own self interests
A lot of things... mainly to trust my own judgement.
1) Don't touch a hot stove.
2) Some people will tell you to touch a hot stove.
Life has taught me to never give up and although not everything is going to be easy you can find happiness if you look for it.
People don't care about your journey. They only care about your results.
Everything you want is on the other side of fear.
That there is a lot of fucking dicks in this world.
It's shit unless you're wealthy or at the very least upper middle class.
That most people are evil
Yh definitely not everyone is evil
Dreams do come true.
That you can only depend on yourself
shit happens...
That it sucks.
At my age, the list is too long.
Hard work does not always equal success,.
@exitseven but laziness DOES always equal failure.
This is not about Hunter Biden!
"Man plans, God laughs". Forgot who said it.
