Why do my friend not want to hangout with me anymore?

We have been friends many years but now these past months suddenly she don’t want to hangout she’s always “busy” with her job but I am busy too but I want to make time for her. I texted her that I missed her and she said she missed me too but I don’t feel that way. She always reject me when I ask if she want to hangout and post pictures when hangout with other friends doing the activity that I suggest.

Should I cut her off?

It’s very possible that this is her pulling away because she’s outgrown your friendship, I know I got to that point with a long term friend. Doesn’t mean you have to be salty or jealous, since she’s hanging with other people, but it is what it is. Just let her come to you and decide how you feel about that when the time comes. I wouldn’t care too much, mainly because I wouldn’t want her to give me a hard time if I wasn’t able to hang out, so I’d try not to take it so personally either.

Umm, unless she reaches out, you should just leave it alone. I had a friend like that, she would post status on whats app, like "online just dont want to talk to you" and take long to reply so I assume the status is for me and pretty much gave up. Sometimes we may have done things that have offended them, you could ask her but if she says nothing, there's not much you could do about it. She might be jealous of you and feeling insecure.

I would never proactively reach out to her again. She either doesn't like you anymore, or doesn't like you enough to want to invite you to places she's going.
