Should I be worried about this?

So I go on VR regularly, and recently it’s been messy. Lots of fueding, I ended a friendship of 4 months on there. An he “works” at one of the virtual bars I attend to, it’s on meta horizon worlds. Whenever I’d join he’d play diss music geared towards me and my new group of friends. My friends saw this and thought how immature of him, so I would always argue with him cause he would start stuff. He would claim we’d be the ones who started stuff, he’s very manipulative.

Anyways, a group of trolls wanted to raid this spot and poll everyone out of the server to get things to change. They ban people left and right for NO reason and abuse their power.

So here’s where it starts to get messy, these group of trolls started doxxing the Gatsbys people. Getting phone numbers, addresses and photos. I mean it was all public information, but I didn’t agree with it. I was in the discord and I’d comment here and there but now I deleted my profile and the app.

I’m worried now I’m going to be facing jail time, I live in Iowa. And that guy knows my address so I’m afraid he’s going to blame me. He told me if I don’t talk to him he’s gonna call my mother LMAO.

A guy that works for meta says this would be impossible to even go to court or civil trial because we committed no crime. I mean I know the former friends address so if he tried anything I’d go down to file a complaint but he lives in another state.

I’m just worried, should I be?

I didn’t do any doxxing, or called any numbers and my phone records would backup this. I am just worried he’s going to try and blame me.

You should definitely be worried. In fact, if you are not currently experiencing extreme panic, you are likely failing to perceive the severity of the situation. It is logical to assume that the worst possible outcome is already unfolding, even if you cannot see it yet.

I dont think you should be worried
