If you fell in love with someone and they told you they couldn't have children would you stay or leave?

When I say they can't have children I am referring to cases in which women go through early menopause ( which can happen in their 30's) or other natural causes that make anyone man or woman infertile. Would this make you change the way you feel about them? If you wanted children would you stay with that person?

If you know a guy WANTS children and you can't have them, it's important to let the guy know straight up from the beginning -- or at least as soon as one of you mentions "children". Don't wait till you've fallen in love and are deep into the relationship because that's not fair to either of you and he might make an emotional decision that isn't sustainable over time, when he realizes he actually WANTS to have kids.

If a guy tells you he doesn't "have to have" children... he typically is just saying that to make you feel at ease... He probably still actually would like to have children. So be ready for a bunch of topics to come up there.

What you have to do is give the guy space every time you give him some kind of heavy news, like:

1. "I can't have children" --> The guy needs space to figure out what HE actually wants. Is it you or children?

2. "I want to be exclusive" --> Again, the guy needs space to figure himself out. It's no good if he feels you're pressuring him into something exclusive when he's not fit or ready to do this with you (for whatever reason of his own).

3. "I'm too old/young for you" --> Again... space.

And when I say space, that doesn't mean texting the guy nonstop while he's asked for space. Leave him alone. If he is still interested, he'll reach out to you. Period.

Sounds harsh? It is. And watch for the guy who INSTANTLY protests when you offer him space, bc that "yes man" sort of guy is just trying to get into your pants.

I myself have been child-free by choice; if the person I fell in love with told me they couldn't have children, I'd do cartwheels!!! It'd be music to my ears.

So, I'll go hypothetical here - if I had a desire to have children and my partner told me that they're unable to have children - easy, peasy --- I'd stay. I'm in love with that person, not what he can or can't *give* me in terms of reproduction.

There are other means of bringing children into the home, and honestly stranger things have happened when people thought they couldn't have kids.

Truthfully I was in that situation when I was about 25 years old. I told them I'd stay. And I did. They left me when I was 27. If I know beforehand that a girl doesn't want kids, I will not date her. Because it's a choice. However, if the girl wants kids and can't have them, I would still date her. It's out of her control at that point. As long as we're compatible, I'm good with it.

I stress to point out that I would sincerely hope that this would happen both ways.

I for one simply couldn't be without children, therefore if any man didn't want children, I would fully accept and understand them leaving me.

if women can’t have child then they should decide either to separate or they can change their relationship into polyamorous and can add another women in family.

if husband can not father a child then they can also either split or she can use sperm donor.
