If many of you are familiar with the situation of my husband. I revealed that he’s okay and alive actually. I posted by this before but I wasn’t ready for what happened next. I lost friends, and people who played like they miss him ended up being upset. Today is our anniversary and my husband is proud of me. He keep saying “I’m thankful you didn’t put me out”. People are upset that he’s not actually dead. I lost so many friends it’s like I shared the worst with them. I’m not understanding why everyone is leaving me. They should be happy that he’s okay but they’re not. I am very general with it and people are upset

I’m sorry I forgot to include that my husband went away to get mental health. I kept that to myself and remained general

Either these people who left weren't actually friends or something else is amiss here that you're perhaps purposefully neglecting to include about this situation. People don't leave after being upset at the discovery of a man's presumed death—unless they had a good reason to. If they believed he died and suddenly gifts or other things started pouring in and you or someone you know tied to your husband, somehow took to it like a duck to water, then after finding all this out, anybody could become irate within seconds and choose to permanently end a friendship. At that point, these ex-friends may have presumed deceitfulness for the sole purpose of financial or other gains on your part. I'm not accusing you, specifically of having done so, but if for whatever reason you or someone connected to you both, accepted something or some favor or other whilst they mourned, well, you're partly responsible for them leaving you both.
He went away for his mental health but the same people tried to set him up to be murdered. they was happy ass hell when they thought he was dead. Pissed off he’s alive
It probably was not a situation you thought too hard about, so, going along with things without ill intent and being seen in such a way is commonplace. Nothing can be done to recover these ex-friends, sadly. People presume what of a situation they want, even if the intention is good or wasn't thought to hard about.
Yes and my husband said “thanks for putting me out”. I’m going to post my previous response from another post.
I was worried but I am glad I did it now. My husband deserves peace, love, happiness, and nobody around him that wish ill on him. People were wearing his faces on tshirts and having parties. They were happy he’s dead but when they found out he was alive, all feelings changed. I care about my husband and I deeply want him to know that I have his back. His wife is gonna take care of all the people that thought they were gonna win over him. I wanna take the stress level off him. Facebook was the only way because it was a lot of people that were involved with calling him “bro” and even saying happy heavenly birthday. I announced it and those very people are upset. My husband deserves better and I am gonna take stress levels away from him however I can. I’m his wife and those people ain’t gonna make a fool out of him.
This would not be categorized as a social faux pas on your part, only, that you were misinterpreted and likely weren't mindful about the possibility of this misinterpretation. Live and learn.
I was very clear about it honestly but I guess it’s people like that in the world
Okay. So, did you report these people for conspiracy to murder?
These people are not friends and never were, so, why fret about their absence?
I'm going to give you a dose of reality, ma'am, not to be rude, but there are very few people, maybe, possibly, if one is lucky, to have a handful, of real friends. The majority are just there for the good times and are fairweather or frenemies or just passing the time or want something they don't have that they want and feel they can get from their associations, some are just givers and takers and are purely transactional or businesslike.
You, nor your husband, lost any friends, ma'am, you just realized who these people were.
I'm not saying it's anybody's fault that you didn't wake up to this reality, until now, but now that you know it's best to take care of these conspirators and never let back in those who left and be suspicious of those who stayed who have ties to those who left. People might stay for numerous reasons and still not be real friends. Sadly. It's never a good idea to go and accuse the people who stayed, anyhow, of not being a friend, though it's something to mull over and begin to reevaluate what real friendship truly means to you and how these people have met and consistently met that criteria.
Unfortunately, this may mean you have to unfriend certain people you've been friends with for a time; not because truthfully they haven't been a friend to you, only, that these friendships weren't as closely fitting your criteria after you've discussed this with them. They must've proved time and time again that they weren't as close a friend as you would have wished they were or could have been when they had the chance to be.
Thank you and they were the ones who kept unfriending me. I got so confused as to why they kept leaving
I'm sorry, I don't know other than what you've just said, but I'm not sure why your friends are turning on you as if it YOUR fault your husband did what he did! That doesn't make any sense.
As for your anniversary, I wish you all the best through these dark times.
Thank you and he withdrew from the public because he was dealing with mental health issues
I am gonna include my responses from other posts
I did it because me and my husband take care of each other. I know when I made the post it would bring mixed reactions. However I was ready for it because his well being is important. I’m his biggest cheerleader. He deserves to have nothing but the best. He deserves to have only love and peace around him. He don’t deserve to have negative people around him. He deserve to keep feeling well. Now people know he’s alive and well, it’s like they hate him. They were okay thinking he was dead but their feelings changed once knowing he’s okay. He deserve to have positive surroundings regardless of what people think of him. I’m gonna continue being there for him.
