I've been married for around 2 months now and at my wedding I had my childhood best friend there as my maid of honour even though he's a male. He obviously didn't wear a dress, he just wore a suite and a matching colour tie to the rest of the bridesmaids dresses.
We've been besties since we were were 6 and I always knew he was different from the other boys growing up and I think that's why drifted towards him as I was seen as different too for being autistic and we kinda knew we needed to stick together.
He's like a brother to me and bouth are family's treat us like one of there own. We've been on holidays together and everything growing up.
My husband has met him a couple times before because I wanted my besties approval when I was first dating him.
Even though my bestie is gay, he isn't your stereotypical gay man. Yes he loves fashion, home goods and hot men obviously but he's definitely a bear and comes off very matcho at first. He's a gym freak who enjoys hunting, fishing etc too.
My husband had no issues with my bestie being gay and is very open minded but we recently moved not far from him and my husband said he feels uncomfortable with how close I am with him but I'm literally the same with my female friends and sisters so why is it different.
Whenever he sees me he gives me a big kiss and hug and tells me how beautiful I am. Sometimes he slaps my butt and I slap his but only in a jokey way and we snuggle up with wine and gossip on the sofa for hours. We used to pretend to be newly engaged on nights out so we'd get free stuff and my husband found it so funny back then but now he says he's my husband and he doesn't want to see another man touch me like that but it's different I get if it was a straight man who I barely knew but my bestie is GAY and has a boyfriend nothing is gonna happen and he's like a sibling to me.

Your husband is trying to set limits, and if you can’t respect that, maybe you should think about what really matters to you. Your bestie may be like a sibling to you, but ignoring your husband’s feelings is selfish. Grow up and understand that not everyone thinks it’s cute when you cross lines, even if it’s all in good fun for you.
I don't get why you don't respect your partner a little more. He's told you he's uncomfortable with the touchy feely nature. So you could easily tone that down. But instead you're trying to demonise him to strangers.
It doesn't matter that he's gay and that nothing will happen. It shows you do not respect your partner
I would say most guys would have a issue with a male feiend snuggling with their partner and slapping her ass even if he was gay thats a definite stepping over most boundaries
