I am into listening to classical relaxation music natural organic lotion for calming. I do everything possible to maintain a positive situation at all times. I did have this one friend who ask me for advice and she keeps constantly asking for financial help and more help in all other aspects. I had given this one friend financial lessons on how to budget stay on track. Apparently she keeps messing up and dumps nagging about the economy at the same time it can be unstandable but this one friend keeps shopping at Mac , Sephora Boutique to later complain she is running short dumps how family issues. Honestly I am getting to the point where I am just tired of her nonsense. All that negativity it's just suffocating. After I had sure financially strategies and given her advice yet she keeps on with the same habits. It gets irritated annoying at some point. I just can't anymore.

What you are describing with your friend I think is covetousness. That is defined as a strong and inordinate desire to have something. Buying expensive makeup when we don’t have money for the basics is an example of a disordered desire. An inordinate desire.


It is clear that the economy is not doing the greatest. That we are very likely headed for difficult economic times. It should be clear to a person that if they have a limited budget, buying what one needs and saving money should be placed above wants like expensive makeup which is a luxury item as I see it.

To constantly complain about circumstances one is at least in part making for themselves is annoying. There’s enough difficulty in life. Having to listen to someone complain constantly is exhausting. Especially when you tried to give them a solution to part of their problem.

Yes. My best gay friend. We were so close. Then we broke friendship for various reasons. Then a few years later we rekindled and he moved away but was phoning me and draining me daily with his issues. I had to be honest that it just wasn't serving me (I had had a bad relationship and spent time healing and working on myself).

I know. It was very sad. He made some bad choices which forced our friendship to end (his new boyfriend was registered as a paedophile and I had children) and then him moving away with this guy really messed with his head. I tried talking to him and helping over the phone but he was on a loop saying same things over and over and accusing me of lying when I said I was busy with cooking kids dinner and things and couldn't spend so much time talking to him (and getting nowhere). I think he actually ended up sent to a mental hospital for help.
