There isn't even anything forcing him to stick around once she is pregnant.
I've known naive young girls who had first time sex because they thought they were in love. Maybe they thought they couldn't get pregnant the first time they had sex. Maybe their boyfriend promised to pull out.
Pregnant at age 14 or 15. No one but her parents to support her. Some dumb-ass teen age guy certainly couldn't. Her future is totally fucked if she has to care for a baby at that age.
They had early-term abortions and learned their lessons. They got on the pill untill they were ready to start families. And they went on to live happy, normal lives.
What about sexual abuse by a relative or rape?
Contraception methods can occasionally fail.
Abortion is almost always an anguishing decision. But sometimes is is the only right decision.
I can't image why anyone would have a problem with the day after pill, or chemical abortion up to 10 weeks after their last period, or even abortion up to the end of the first trimester when the fetus is 2.13 inches long and weighs about 0.49 ounces, which is roughly the size of a plum. Its brain and nervous system haven't yet developed and It can feel no pain.
Calling that baby killing is hyperbolic emotionalism. It's nonsense, usually stemming from religious beliefs.
But anti-abortionists like to picture sucking fully developed babies out of the womb.
For the record, I oppose late-term abortion unless the mother's health is at risk or the fetus is not viable.
The decision to abort is solely up to the woman. Any guy who thinks otherwise shouldn't get a woman pregnant in the first place and should make sure that contraception is used when he fucks her.Every one of my girlfriends were on the pill. I estimate that I've came inside women well over 5,000 times without one pregnancy scare.
I don;'l understand why sexually active women who aren't ready to have babies don't act responsively for their own bodies and take similar precautions.

This has always been my point , so incredibly SEXIST , and I know 3 women who have had abortions , 1 commited suicide , the thought that you can just " rip it out " and say " my body " thinking all else is fine is simply not true , now I do agree there should be more support , it takes a community to raise a child..
But you can't just exclude whoever it was who fertilised the egg , like you? " We dont care about your view.. MY BODY "
What an attitude right?

1 yThe man only ejaculates during sex. That's the contribution in total before birth. That's it. The woman actually carries the child, the woman's body changes, her hormones change, her body literally keeps the child alive. The woman sacrifices her body for the child. If there are major complications during childbirth the mother can even die. No guy has ever died during childbirth. The guy ejaculated. That's all.
#internationalmensday absolutely. But this ain't it right here lol.
Nice fake pink account by the way. Have a good day, my guy.67 Reply
Asker1 yThat's presumptuous of you. AS A WOMAN I am well aware what a woman goes through in childbirth, but when it comes to choosing abortion vs bringing the baby to term, why is it wrong for the father to have a say if it's partially his DNA? As much as we can say, it's all woman, it's not. No child on earth has been born without the help of a man, so why is it wrong according to some women, for him to say, we should discuss your choice at least, before you decide on an abortion or not? I'm not into governments jumping in and saying women have no choices because government has no place in that, but THE actual father or rather, potential father?

There can always be discussion involved in anything. I'm just telling you that a woman contributes more to the child before birth than the guy does. There's no denying that at all. My BODY, meaning it's my body that has to do all the work and literally keeps the baby alive. My body is the one that is doing everything while the baby is in there. So MY BODY, ultimately it should come down to my choice. Even if a discussion is involved. When a man has to go through everything I do during birth, then we can talk about how a woman shouldn't have choices over her own body.

... The woman sacrifices her body for the child
If you or any other woman feels she is sacrifice her body... Just don't have sex. Don't make babies. - 1 y
Don't tell me to not have sex. Lol. Sex isn't just related to making babies. Maybe for you it is. I have an IUD so I don't have to worry about pregnancy.
But to think that a woman's body can't go through complications or that a woman can't die from childbirth or even from miscarriage? Or her body can't have permanent changes from childbirth at all? You're lying and you know it.
You can be pro life all you want but when you flat out lie, you look dumb as fuck. - 1 y
They've already made another question with my name actually included in it as a blue account now lol. Just to prove my point again lol.

Does the baby get to say "My body, My Choice" too?
Keep your darn legs closed if you don't want to get pregnant then kill the baby.

1 yI read some answers of men / boys
That the woman is right to do so because she "lost" 9. Months of her life... That she has the right because her body changes and hormones.
To be honest I read that as.
Oh hell ! I'm not responsible for that baby. No fucking way. Do what ever you what. Don't make your problem my problem.
It is a thing you did together. Getting hot, having sex and getting pregnant. So both should be taking the road together for both.. Keeping it... Or destroying it.
I have kids. I was very young and my relation went extremely bad. I had no choice. I had to do it all a lone.. The choices the options.
I wished I had a man beside me to make the choices together. But In stead he got arrested and went to jail for 25 years.
He is never allowed to see his kids once he finds out he has kids.

If some persons don't what an answer
Then stop asking questions...
1 yBecause it’s not his body so it’s not his choice.
It would be nice if some state child support replaced the policy of forcing unwilling men to be fathers/pay child support though. Not because they don’t owe it/shouldn’t but because it creates a potentially unnecessary lifelong conflict between them and the well being of the child/mother.00 Reply3.5K opinions shared on Family & Friends topic.

1 yBecause to give the man a legal say would be to proclaim, "Her Body, His Choice."
As I've said before, I dislike abortion, but even more than that I despise the idea that a government of busybodies might eventually get to monitor a woman's cycles to make sure she isn't pregnant, and if she is that she does not voluntarily terminate. That concept is anathema to a free people.10 Reply
1 yBecause it's 9 months of her life her body her decision. Any input from the man should have been done before the situation. I can't backseat drive someone else's car

1 yI agree men should be forced to not jack off and only have sex for procreation. All those men killing babies in socks every day.

1 yThe man should be involved, but let's be fair. It's the woman that has to carry it for 9 months, and then she spends the next 18 years or so raising it.

1 ySexism 🤷🏻♂️ plain and simple. Men should have an equal say and if he wants to be the father he should be able to he a father without the woman deciding that for him. Otherwise women who claim to be about equality are nothing but hypocrites.

1 yBecause it's not the man's body that under goes the transformation. What it should be is the man's wallet the man's choice, as men should have the right to waive all financial obligation if they choose

Interesting perspective.
Its your body your choise - sure but men should be able to bail by saying he does not wanna have nothing to do nor pay support for kid. Most women have problem with that, because they wanna baby trap the man

Women don't want men to be able to say that otherwise it would already be something men could do.

Asker1 ySo you wouldn't want any say if your wife/girlfriend were pregnant and trying to decide to keep it or not?
- 1 y
My girlfriend and I actually talk and I know what she would do in the event of an unexpected pregnancy. I'm not too worried about her randomly changing her mind, but if she were to change her mind, I would want to do whatever she wanted to do.
Asker1 yThis is all I meant, like, I don't think it should be just a woman's way but a discussion at the very least between partners unless the guy literally wants nothing to do with the baby or doesn't care. Some people just think men should have literally no say, and I don't think that's entirely fair. Like if this happened to me, even if I knew what I was going to do, I'd still talk to and hear out his input even if we totally disagreed.
- 1 y
I agree that she should hear him out and take his wants into consideration. I so think she's a peice of shit if she gets an abortion without telling him. Men should have the right to decide if they do or don't want to be with someone who would abort his child.
- 1 y
*I also think she's a peice of shit
Anonymous(25-29)1 yAbortion is either morally permissable or it isn't. If it is, then it's a woman's decision. If not (my position) then neither the male nor female has the right to end the lives of the unborn.
