I am so totally sorry for your loss. I cannot begin to imagine what kind of emotional pain you must endure. You have my deepest sympathy.

There is no standard solution for dealing with the loss of a close family member. Each person grieves them differently.

It takes time to get over, or come to a closure with that tragic event. A good way to attempt to accept it is to look towards the future. That is what your parents would have wanted. They would not have wished for you to live in the past.

You can still hold them in your heart and at the same time move on with your life. All those good memories you share will never be lost. Try to occupy yourself with something that you like to do. Take up a new hobby and meet new people that may help alleviate your burden. It is not easy but you need to let go of that feeling that you cannot live without them. Love is more than just being frozen in your memories, it is also looking into the future and living with that memory and sharing it with those that care for you. Good luck.
