Trending & News no. just like the child shouldn't be expected to give them money.
maybe i just don't want the "blackmail" but this is why i never ask for help if i don't need it. because it can easily turn back on to you, you know? but i'm extremely financially responsible and would never be in that situation if i could help it.
Life happens, even to very financially responsible people
That would depend on whether the kid is respectful in paying back loans. If so most definitely. Any parent should be happy to help out their child when they can afford to.
a good parent should not expect to be paid back. They’re your parent , not your friend
I don't think so, no. It really depends a LOT on the circumstances.
it depends on the situation... some lessons must be learned by facing the consequences, so it wouldn't be wise to interrupt the learning process

Depends on what kind of relationship they have and what the money is for. Money can always complicate things if you need to pay it back in a certain amount of time and so on. My last resort would be to ask my parents for money even when we have a hood relationship.
Yes. I also believe that the child should also help out their parents financially whenever needed.
If it is a son, no. If it is a daughter, then yes.
That’s fucked lol
@Kingofkings1992 If all do is let him play Roblox and spoil he will grow up to be a mediocre man. You have put him on an island by himself where he can train like bruce lee and learn discipline. Like how parents in the UK send their kids to elite bording school so they can grow up to become a minister. A lot of them learn at an early age its a dog eats dog world and it can devistating they ultimately become successful even though it was a tramatic experience for them.
Your son needs an education discipline and skill or he is going to be a front line soilder in the army and learn about the world that way. A daughter it's fine if she you spoil and buy her stuff all the time, but a son needs to learn to fight for what he wants because no one is going to give it to him. You don't want to spoil him keep him in a bubble and then when he is an adult he finds out the hard way.
@OlofssonBengtsson Interesting take. I agree with what you say about sons. But I didn't see anything about exchange of value when talking about giving to daughters.
@Ariesman81 Well for the most part girls mature a lot faster than boys that is why they do so well in school during the early years compared to boys who can't sit still and follow orders from the teacher.
It's a little more complicated, but not that hard to figure. If you read Antigone Creon was overly strict with his laws and restriction and Antigone rebeled against the laws he put in place during his rule. He didn't about how his rules affect everyone else contextual and they were unfair. His Antigone broke his laws and had to be punish. It's like if a school makes a stupid rule they are going to have to punish the kids because if they let it silde for one kid the kids will think they can break whatever rules they want. Which is why Creon had to punish his daugther even though he realize how stupid his laws were.
Women have a lot more flexiblity in life compared to men who have more higher expectations on being successful which is why you see mostly only see homeless men on the streets. Which is why you need to be more flexible in terms of your rules. a girl can get what she wants a lot easier compared to a man. You can't be overly passive where you are a push over parent and you can't be overly strict with a girl. If you tell them not at all then they will turn against and do the oppiste of you want. You have to be some what fair. So like she can kiss her boyfriend, but she is not allowed over his place or something like that. You have to think about how your rules will effect them contextually.
@ariesman81 You can eat some sugar, but not you can't eat any sugar at all.
That does not teach them financial responsibility
If they can they should
Agree. if they have the means to, I think they should
Sure if they CAN afford it
If they have the money for it
They should
